Do you know the biggest downfall a person can face is? Hopelessness. Not being able to see the light at the end of the tunnel can take people to some pretty dark places. If you’ve ever felt hopelessness, than I’m sure you know how bad it feels. If you’re feeling lost or hopeless, I’m going to tell you something important...you’re going to make it. I know sometimes it might not feel like it, but you gotta find the will power to keep pushing through. You might have to change a few things in your life, but I promise you there’s a way to come out of any adversity you face. Something good will always come. Things will eventually recover, and once they do, you’ll come out tougher and better than before. Think about the Bubonic plague in the 1300’s. Only a handful of people survived the black plague. About three out of five people died. Only a handful of people survived. You and I are the product of those survivors. The renaissance came out of the Black Plague. I know that might seem like a ...
Gospel Luke 12:22-31 22 And he said to his disciples, "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you shall eat, nor about your body, what you shall put on.  23 For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.   24 Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds!  25 And which of you by being anxious can add a cubit to his span of life?   26 If then you are not able to do as small a thing as that, why are you anxious about the rest?   27 Consider the lilies, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.   28 But if God so clothes the grass which is alive in the field today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O men of little faith!   29 And do not seek what you...
How Luck Can Change Your Life 18,000 of the world's top investors come from around the world to attend and listern to Warren Buffet, Bill Gates and Charlie Munger at the Berkshire Hathaway Annual Meeting. I try to go every year. The interesting thing is, they should have taught us all the stuff in school. You can come to this annual meeting and learn more than you learn in two years of school, because one of the things they forget to teach you in school is about investing money. Which basically means you're gonna be a salary slave for the rest of your life because the true definition of investing is making your money work for you while you sleep. That's passive investing. Active investing, or you know getting a job, is where you invest your own time, your own energy, your own money to make more money, but the problem is you and I run out of energy, and we run out of time. So one of the things the top investors talk about is setting a small amou...
How can you become happier? Try this experiment. Start mentally pretending that you already have what it is that you think you want. Let's say you want more money, wake up in the morning and say, "I love that I'm making more money."  Now, don't confuse this for just visualization with no action because after that, once you start creating that emotion, that I already have what I want, then you go out and are fueled by that to just go out and act. Act in that way. If you say,  "I want to be great at investing and saving my money."  Then, just say to yourself,  "I love that I'm great at saving and investing money." When it comes time to spend all your money or put a little in a savings account, your mind will be expecting that you're a great saver and a great investor. This goes beyond visualization. This is visualization in action. Positive thinking with action attached to it. You need both. You can do this for every area in...
You know what one of the biggest problems in society is? People are so ignorant. Hardly anybody is willing to learn. They get set in their beliefs and that’s the end of it.  Other people’s ignorance will affect you more than anything else. It’ll impact you more than the economy, or your race, or whose president.  Having to deal with stupid and ignorant is going to be one of the most difficult challenges you’ll face in life. You gotta be able to read people, so you can immediately tell who the ignorant people are. You gotta be tough, because there are so many ignorant and stupid people that will try to bring you down. You gotta have a strong will and be mentally tough to be successful. Stay Strong, Tai http://ll.ellen828toprosperity.mysalessystem.com/
I want to talk to you about something important...  Life.  Life just beats down on you sometimes. Over and over.  It starts to feel like you’re stuck. You don’t know how to get out. And then it happens.  The aha moment.  It takes the really tough times to have that big aha moment. I remember sleeping on a couch in a mobile home. No college degree. No money in my bank account. Stuck. Even today I still have bad days. Part of being an entrepreneur is seeing the vision through the clutter.  One of the most powerful things you can do when you’re stuck is feed your brain. You’re probably thinking,  “Tai what the hell does that mean?” It sounds cheesy, feed your brain with knowledge. Keep learning. Give your brain new information to help change your situation. Go try something new. Read a book. Buy a program. Take a class. Learn a language.  When you give your brain more information it can help spark that aha moment that changes...

First rule of life, cut everyone out of your life who isn't either: A. Encouraging you Or B. Offering constructive criticism But there's one catch to this, you have to be sure you're adding value back or else it's not fair to judge others and cut them out, right?  You’ve got to practice what you preach but this rule is so powerful that nobody applies it.  You're going to find a lot of people in your life called,  "free riders" , that's the economics term for it, and they want something but they give nothing. They want value from you but they don't offer any value first.  Encouragement or constructive criticism are the two most powerful forms of value anybody can add to a person's social life, right? Follow this rule. If somebody's annoying, it doesn't mean you should cut them off because they might be offering constructive criticism into your life. It might be painful but it might be helpful. At the end of the day,...
I had someone ask me the other day  “Hey Tai, if you could take one quote from throughout history and make it you life guide, what quote would it be?” That’s a pretty tough question, because you can use quotes and history as free mentor. If I had to take one quote and make it my purpose in life, It would be something I read from Alexander the Great. He said  "Through every generation of the human race there has been a constant war, a war with fear. Those who have the courage to conquer it are made free, and those who are conquered by it are made to suffer until they have the courage to defeat it or death takes them." Let me tell you, you get this one in your head and make it instinctually part of you, who you are and how you think, you will be head and heels miles ahead of the crowd. Sometimes, fear drives people more than reward. I think reward's more powerful, but it’s like Alexander the Great says,  "Fear is the horse running around inside your brain, it'...
Have you ever felt depressed and alone? If you have or if you do right now, let me tell you something. You  can  make it through this. I think one of the top reasons depression is so prevalent today is because people can’t seem to find their purpose. I think everyone has their own meaning of life, but not enough people are able to find what their purpose is. If you don't pick a purpose, you're lost. You're rudderless. You're compassless. You have no GPS. Every day, it gets harder, and harder, but if you can find a purpose, one door opens, then another and another. I think at every point in life, we have to ask our self: "Why are we here? What's the purpose?"  It's easy to get caught up. Many people have lent theories to why we're here, whether it'd be religion, helping others, love. At the end of the day, I think if you can find what your purpose is, make that the reason you live. Monday, May 7, 2018 Easter Weekday First Reading Acts 16:11-15 11 Setting sail therefore from Tro'as, we made a direct voyage to Sam'othrace, and the following day to Ne-ap'olis,  12 and from there to Philip'pi, which is the leading city of the district of Macedo'nia, and a Roman colony. We remained in this city some days;   13 and on the sabbath day we went outside the gate to the riverside, where we supposed there was a place of prayer; and we sat down and spoke to the women who had come together.   14 One who heard us was a woman named Lydia, from the city of Thyati'ra, a seller of purple goods, who was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to give heed to what was said by Paul.   15 And when she was baptized, with her household, she besought us, saying, "If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay." And she prevailed upon us.  Responsorial Psalm Psalms...
Sunday, May 6, 2018 Select a date from the calendar to view readings   Sixth Sunday of Easter First Reading Acts 10:25-26, 34-35, 44-48 25 When Peter entered, Cornelius met him and fell down at his feet and worshiped him.   26 But Peter lifted him up, saying, "Stand up; I too am a man."  34 And Peter opened his mouth and said: "Truly I perceive that God shows no partiality,   35 but in every nation any one who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.   44 While Peter was still saying this, the Holy Spirit fell on all who heard the word.   45 And the believers from among the circumcised who came with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles.  46 For they heard them speaking in tongues and extolling God. Then Peter declared,   47 "Can any one forbid water for baptizing these people who have received the Holy Spirit just as we...
