Easter Weekday
First Reading
Acts 16:11-15
11Setting sail therefore from Tro'as, we made a direct voyage to Sam'othrace, and the following day to Ne-ap'olis, 12and from there to Philip'pi, which is the leading city of the district of Macedo'nia, and a Roman colony. We remained in this city some days;  13and on the sabbath day we went outside the gate to the riverside, where we supposed there was a place of prayer; and we sat down and spoke to the women who had come together.  14One who heard us was a woman named Lydia, from the city of Thyati'ra, a seller of purple goods, who was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to give heed to what was said by Paul.  15And when she was baptized, with her household, she besought us, saying, "If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay." And she prevailed upon us.
Responsorial Psalm
Psalms 149:1-6, 9
1Praise the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of the faithful! 2Let Israel be glad in his Maker, let the sons of Zion rejoice in their King! 3Let them praise his name with dancing, making melody to him with timbrel and lyre! 4For the LORD takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with victory. 5Let the faithful exult in glory; let them sing for joy on their couches. 6Let the high praises of God be in their throats and two-edged swords in their hands, 9to execute on them the judgment written! This is glory for all his faithful ones. Praise the LORD!
Gospel
John 15:26--16:4
1526But when the Counselor comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness to me;  27and you also are witnesses, because you have been with me from the beginning.161"I have said all this to you to keep you from falling away.  2They will put you out of the synagogues; indeed, the hour is coming when whoever kills you will think he is offering service to God.  3And they will do this because they have not known the Father, nor me.  4But I have said these things to you, that when their hour comes you may remember that I told you of them. "I did not say these things to you from the beginning, because I was with you.

Hi, I often tell people that genius is not so much talent as it is attitude… You see, your attitude is the environment you decide to carry with you during the day. It proclaims to the world what you think of yourself and indicates the sort of person you have made up your mind to be. A genius attitude is deciding that you can do well at anything you make up your mind to do. When you do that, you give the project all you’ve got, and in doing so, attract the favorable attention of others. Attitude is one of the most commonly used and yet most misunderstood words in the English language. However, if you understand what attitude really is, you’ll know how to bring the best of you to the surface every day... To your success, Bob Proctor Chairman & Co-Founder Proctor Gallagher Institute
Hi ELLEN, One day, a little boy spent the afternoon building a blanket fort in his bedroom, but he had nobody to play with. His mother was busy tending to the baby, and his father wasn’t home from work yet. When his father came home, the little boy ran up to him, greeted him enthusiastically, and asked him to come sit in the blanket fort. The father was tired from a hard and stressful day at work, and said no in a rather grumpy way. “Son, I’ve been working hard to make money all day. Don’t bother me right now, okay? I’m too tired to play.” Very disappointed, the boy went back to his room and sat quietly in his fort. Suddenly, he had an idea. He ran back to his father who was dozing on the couch. He shook his father’s arm and asked, “Daddy, how much money do you make in one hour?” The father was startled out of his slumber and none too happy about it. “Didn’t I ask you not to bother me?” he snapped. But the boy persisted. “Daddy, I really need to know. How much do you ...
How can you be way happier, less depressed, have less anxiety and fear?  Let's talk about this book,  "The Happiness Advantage" . It's pretty interesting. "The Happiness Advantage" is  an international best seller and talks about the seven principles of positive psychology that fuel success and performance at work.  What are the seven? The happiness advantage number one, the fulcrum and the lever number two, the tetris effect number three, falling up number four, the zorro cycle number five. Number six, the 20 second rule, and number seven, social investment.  It's a good book. Just finished doing my book of the day, and I thought I'd share it with you. I'll just give you a few little points, not going to go through the whole book. Find something to look forward to. So, I'm going to give you three tips that I thought were interesting in this book. If you've been in a funk, if life's been hard, if you've been feeling do...
